Litigation management is typical the role of general counsel by which they work with outside counsel to manage any litigation that the business is involved in. Because litigation is specific to an area of expertise, general counsel will typically interview and hire with the support of the business owner or management team to make sure that they have the right people involved in any ongoing litigation.
