A corporate risk assessment is an internal assessment of the health of a business. It's generated by the business owner to determine whether there is risk that they are not aware of, or risk that they're not properly handling. With a startup, it determines what the risk will be moving forward, and with an existing company, it typically will determine whether or not they're operating compliantly, or if they need to make changes to their operation.
