ABOUT MARJORIE J. MAGINNIS, ESQ.

As Founder and President of Maginnis Law Firm, Ms. Maginnis focuses her practice on Corporate Law. In her 20+ years of experience, she has served as In-House counsel and worked in private practice representing clients in a variety of matters including: commercial litigation, complex business transactions, corporate governance; corporate compliance; residential and commercial land acquisitions, employment matters, administrative proceedings, bankruptcy, estate planning, mediation, arbitration and appeals. Prior to entering private practice, she served as In-house Counsel for an international elevator company managing employment related litigation, risk assessment, creation and implementation of Loss Prevention, OSHA and Drug Free Workplace programs for more than 12,000 union and non-union employees. She earned her JD with Honors in 1996 from St. Thomas University School of Law and a B.A. in Communications in 1989 from The George Washington University. She is a licensed attorney in North Carolina and Florida as well as being a trained mediator.
Her practice currently serves the legal needs of a variety of businesses throughout the country.
